Dalio is cited as an **early pioneer of creating a digital twin** (a precursor to today's [[concept-ai-agent|AI Agent / Clone]] concept). He spent decades codifying his decision-making principles into algorithms so that a computer system could make investment decisions exactly as he would.

Weinstein uses this as the proof-of-concept that the digital-twin pattern works — Dalio simply did it manually before LLMs made it accessible to everyone.
